My name is Neil Swanborough and I am the Electrical Team Leader for the Royal Portbury Docks at Portbury Bristol.

It is my responsibility to ensure that the machinery and workshop air conditioning systems are functioning correctly and are serviced regularly. When I first took on this role it was not TEK who had the contract. I found that we were getting repetitive breakdowns on equipment and that problems were never being fully resolved. I found this to be unacceptable and therefore looked for an alternative company to take on the contract.

I came across TEK and contacted them, Nick Mawson then came to site to view our equipment.  From there we agreed a maintenance and breakdown cover package.

TEK from then have carried out maintenance and breakdown cover on our air conditioning systems and I have found them to be excellent in breakdown attendance, and maintenance. Their reaction time to breakdowns was a marked improvement from the last company with attendance by a TEK engineer usually the same day I report a fault. All their engineers are capable and they have never failed to satisfactorily repaired or found the fault in any of our systems. This is especially impressive given the wide range, and age of equipment we have on site.

I have no reservations in recommending TEK and Nick Mawson to any company or group with regard the maintenance and installation of air conditioning systems in both machines and offices.

I have been involved with Tek Ltd on a number of projects over the last few years. These have ranged from a full specification design and build programme of an environmentally controlled Metrology facility to completed design and installation systems. These facilities have been challenging in size and location with exacting temperature and humidity limits. The team based in Bristol have installed these systems the length of the country and overseas and continue to maintain high levels of expertise and support. Where upon a similar build is requested I will have no hesitation in commissioning Tek Ltd to perform the installation.
