Domestic Air Conditioning

You can choose where in your home you want the units installed, but most homeowners choose to keep a regulated temperate in bedrooms to aid sleep and living spaces for additional comfort.
They are usually operated using a split system that connects a single indoor unit to an outdoor unit to cool a single room. Larger homes could benefit from a multi-split system that can connect multiple units to a single outdoor unit, to heat or cool multiple rooms, whilst offering individual room controls.
Both single and multiple split systems accumulate condensation on the coil and have a built-in tray to prevent water trickling into your home. The tray is angled and has a hole at the bottom of the slope, so that water can move out and into a drainpipe that moves the water away from the home.
Split air conditioning systems contain high-pressure refrigerant that cools the warm air when it encounters it, to improve the temperature within the room.

Commercial Air Conditioning
Commercial buildings are always expected to maintain a regulated temperature both for the comfort of the staff that work there and visitors who come through the door. In order to ensure that this expectation is met, modern-day commercial air conditioning units offer high spec components, efficient energy usage and individual zone controls.
There are a variety of options available depending on the type and size of your commercial building. Long, thin, high-level wall-mounted air conditioners are the most common air conditioning units used in offices. Ceiling-mounted ‘cassette’ units are also very popular in modern offices that have false or suspended ceilings. They are easily hidden in the structure of the ceiling panels, yet still provide four-way airflow making them ideal for large offices. Some cassettes even have individually controlled louvres so that you can direct the air around the office.
Ducted air conditioning systems are the most complicated of all commercial air-conditioning systems but are also the most efficient and long-lasting. Hidden behind suspended ceilings, there lies an extensive network of duct-work and internal units, with discreet grills pumping cool air into communal spaces.
Installing a ducted air conditioning system is a significant amount of work, which should ideally be undertaken in new build commercial premises and not as part of a retrofit operation.
All these types of unit are usually powered using variable refrigerant flow (VRF) or variable refrigerant volume (VRV) technology. These systems can provide hot or cool air to large applications including hotels, retail spaces and offices.
Industrial Air Conditioning
Industrial air conditioning is used to ensure the correct operation of equipment, to carry out specialised industrial processes or to store temperature-sensitive items. It is imperative that industrial air conditioning systems remain in operation regardless of the conditions outside the premises. Industrial air-conditioning requires precision temperature and humidity control, that may need to be delivered via a high functioning filter system and only after the removal of contaminants.
Industrial HVAC units contain all of the components of a split system in one single unit, and are generally referred to as “packaged units”. The supply, return, filters, coolant, lines, compressors and blower fans are enlarged versions of anything you would find in a domestic unit, the only difference is, they can control multiple spaces at precise temperatures for long periods of time.
