Air conditioning has been the mainstay of Total Environmental Kooling Ltd’s business for many years, and sits comfortably alongside renewable technologies as the basis of air conditioning is heat pump technology.
The term ‘air conditioning’, strictly speaking, refers to full-function air based systems with five functions: filtration, heating, cooling, humidification and dehumidification, all of which are controllable.
The majority of systems fulfil three of the functions: filtration, heating and cooling, and are referred to as ‘comfort conditioning’. This includes ceiling cassette systems, and wall- & floor-mounted fan coil unit systems.
Current technology has the facility to allow simultaneous heating and cooling from a single system, and can also offer heat recovery where heat energy rejected from one area is transferred to a different area, with attendant energy and cost savings.
Total Enviromental Kooling Ltd have designed and installed many full air conditioning systems for offices and for specialised close control areas for hospitals, laboratories and advanced computer equipment.
Comfort conditioning to offices, schools, production units, doctors’ and dentists’ surgeries and domestic properties remains a major part of our workload.
We are approved installers for Daikin, Mitsubishi, Stulz, Denco, Toshiba and Sanyo and have experience of many other manufacturers.
