We supply, design and install Solar Power to all commercial (public and private sector), charitable Sector (in particular church and school settings) and domestic premises. Total Environmental Kooling offer feasibility reports and design through to installation and after care services.
Solar PV (Solar Photovoltaic) Systems convert the sun’s energy into zero carbon electricity. The PV Panels contain a series of cells made from a semi-conductor material that converts sunlight into energy. Several Photovoltaic Panels can be connected together in order to provide Solar Power Energy with the required power output.
The Solar Power Panels are connected to a DC/AC inverter, which converts the direct current output from the panels into alternating current at voltages suitable for use in the building.
UK Panels
Total Environmental have MCS Installer Approval and use UK-assembled Solar Panels that have full MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) certification - necessary for grants and feed-in tariffs.
The majority of our competitors use solar panels manufactured and assembled in the Far East - with an obviously high carbon footprint generated in their trans-global transportation!!
Any surplus energy produced at weekends etc. could be sold back to the national grid
and will benefit from the introduction of Feed-In Tariffs being introduced in the
UK. Payback periods on Photovoltaic Panels (PV Panels) are generally in the order
of 7-9 years which, combined with a life expectancy of 25 years, is a reasonable
return.
