Close Control, CMM Rooms
We have undertaken specialist Close Control, CMM and Clean Room projects (including all building services) in Scandinavia and throughout the UK. We have significant expertise in design in this area for Blue Chip PLC clients.
Our design and build experience of CMM, Close Control rooms, Laser Labs etc has been gained over a 20 year period, with our in house design experts and professional, highly experienced engineers working to enable tight humidity and temperature controls to be achieved. We have also designed the air diffusion modules to achieve the required coverage within the close control facility.
Our team can build the entire room including all aspects of the close control environment
as a complete turnkey package (including all building works, mechanical and electrical
services). We can provide you with budget costings and design input from an early
stage in the project. Client references can be provided on request.
CMM Room, Daventry
Our team recently completed a CMM room for an Engineering Group in Coventry to house CMM equipment. This is successfully working to within 0.2° as demonstrated by data logs.
Close Control Turnkey Project in Norway, completed early
Total Environmental Kooling were appointed by a major metrology manufacturer to design, supply, install, commission and set to work a close control metrology facility at a multi-national marine engineering facility in Norway.
Having agreed the design, all components were shipped to Norway, where our team of specialist builders, electricians and air conditioning engineers constructed the 13 metre by 8 metre chamber and fitted the ventilation ductwork and base electrical services by 23 July , a month ahead of programme.
Commissioning took place in mid-August, following the installation of the specialist measuring equipment for which the facility was designed.
The space is controlled at 20OC +/- 1OC and humidity at 45% +/- 10%.
